The hospital window

Once a young man meets with an accident and was wheeled into a hospital room. There was another patient who was age-old resting on a bed just next to the window. As days passed the two became good friends, the one next to the window, the old man would describe colourfully the happenings outside the window. one day if he describes the beauty of the garden, on the other day he would entertain his friend with a detailed explanation of the things people were doing out. As time went on, the old man was pronounced to death and wheeled out of the hospital room. The young man was pained by the old man’s death. At the same time, he was much curious to look out of the window to witness the beautiful nature he was heard by the old man.

He requested the nurse to shift him to the old man’s bed. As soon as he was shifted he was shocked looking out of the window. There stood an unfinished wall. The young man’s eyes filled with tears. All those days, the old man entertained him with his past experience and imagination, just keep the young man happy without any expectations.
