The TBH Series: The Thursday Blog Hour Series #Episode001

Namaste dear readers,

Hope you are doing well physically and mentally. It's that auspicious day of the year, the first Thursday of the new year 2025. A great day to seek the blessings of the Guru for the betterment of life and spiritual growth and START WORKING TOWARDS IT. No doubt, every day is an auspicious to pray to the Guru. Our brain with so much of pre-occupied assumptions and self-imposed limitations constantly looks for a special moment for something special to happen. Considering that here we are, having a special day to start new things which we feel is required to be done, giving it the name "RESOLUTIONS"

Last year my only resolution was not to have one and I did not have a resolution for the whole of 2024. It's something like saying "I'm not having any thought I'm not having any thought" and that " I'm not having any thought" itself is a thought. 2024 presented a lot of life lessons. Accepting and adopting them is a choice. I remember some great personality saying about a book title which goes something similar to "Swami Vivekananda: A Gift from the East Which We Never Opened" A Hurricane that swept away ignorance and lit the light of Vedanta in millions of Western hearts and minds and yet they consider him as "Unopened gift" tells us how much more he had to offer us and how we most of the Indians still haven't even thought of him as our present. Most of us are more than happy with the gift wrap cover and the gift box. Just like how the child plays more happily, comfortably, and more importantly with high creativity with the trash than the toy that costs the parents to provide it. Nothing wrong with the trash part. But the problem is that the child is deprived of the Joy of playing with the toy. Whose gone convince the child? Who is gone a tell us to get rid of trash and get real?

So, finally, I’m here to get real about of life and beyond. So, what’s the first thing first. The trash must go to the bin. Yes, that’s the first thing after the realization. Realizing what’s trash and what’s not is something we need to understand with nature giving us lessons and hints. Remember "One man’s trash is another man’s Treasure." Nature knows better what’s good for whom and it’s good we to listen to her. Once after realizing, get a bin and get rid of the unwanted. BOOM. Trash is gone. Now before we level up the game, one thing one should always remember is that the trash keeps on coming and one needs to keep the process of regular cleaning active. Just like we bathe daily, sweep and mop home regularly, and service our vehicles regularly. This is Important. And another thing to remember. Sometimes there might be something of use in some trash. So, make sure to keep the valuable treasure part of the trash before disposal. With that being said, by now my blog hour for the week is done. To be honest, I have my own trash to dispose and I’m sure you have yours too. I’ll talk about my trash in the next Episode of The TBH Series: The Thursday Blog Hour Series #Episode002

Happy new year 2025 dear reader friend 😊
